Younis called Joffre Archer a threat to the national team

Younis Khan, the batting coach of the national team, has termed the English fast bowler ‘Joffra Archer’ as a threat to the Pakistani team during the national team’s tour of England.

The national team has left for England today where they will play a series of 3 Tests and 3 T20 matches in the series starting in August.

“Archer is a match winner and a threat to our team,” Younis Khan told AFP before the national team left for England.

He said the 25-year-old fast bowler had proved his worth after qualifying for England and had played a key role in the Ashes and England World Cup victories last year.

Younis Khan, referring to last year’s nerve-wracking final against New Zealand at Lord’s, said that Archer’s nerves are very strong, which he has proved by making important super overs in the World Cup final.

However, Younis Khan, who made a double series in the 2016 series against England, made it clear that Archer could be competed, he is very popular which will put extra pressure on him, I have told the batsmen that Play the ball close to the body against them and play on the back foot as their in-swing balls can be very dangerous.

Younes, referring to Joffra Archer’s bowling experience in a practice match in 2016, said: “I remember playing against him in a side game. He took five wickets in that match but he did not bowl at his best. The way they are doing nowadays.

The batsman, who has scored 10,000 and the most runs in Test cricket for Pakistan, also warned the national team batsmen of the dangers posed by a pair of experienced fast bowlers, James Anderson and Stuart Broad.

“Anderson and Broad have a lot of experience, their pairing is very good, they both play an important role whenever England wins, but the weather is dry in August and there is not much cloudy weather, so both of them are different,” he said. This can be dealt with.

The batting coach made it clear that the national team would have to score 300-350 in the first innings to win the match so that they could challenge England by bowling
