RAWALPINDI: Nine terrorists were killed and two soldiers were martyred during a security forces operation in North Waziristan.
According to a statement issued by ISPR, security forces responded to reports of presence of terrorists in Khaisura and Dosali areas of North Waziristan.

Nine terrorists were killed and one was arrested during the operation, while a large quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists’ possession.

During the operation, two personnel were martyred and five others were injured in an exchange of fire. Among the martyrs were Lance Naik Abdul Waheed and soldier Sikam Dad.

Lance Naik Abdul Waheed hails from Muzaffarabad and soldier Sikam Dad hails from Abbottabad. Soldier Sikam Dad was 33 years old while Lance Naik Abdul Waheed was 29 years old.
