The Chairman PCB took the Prime Minister into confidence on the major changes taking place in the Board. He also gave a briefing on various issues including international and domestic cricket and financial matters.

The Prime Minister directed the Board to conduct its affairs in a transparent manner. According to sources, he also asked not to fire anyone in the difficult situation created by Corona.

On the other hand, PCB and ECB officials have been contacted by telephone. The two boards had a positive discussion regarding the national team’s tour of England.

According to sources, Pakistan submitted its requests to England before the proposed schedule. A full response to the arrangements is expected this weekend, at which time the final schedule may also come to light.

It may be recalled that the PCB, which has avoided training camps in Pakistan due to corona virus, wants to send the squad to England in the last week of this month.

According to the proposed schedule, the guest cricketers will arrive in Birmingham on a special flight from Pakistan and will be quarantined in a bio-secure environment.
