Leading American economic magazine Forbes has released a list of the world’s 100 highest-earning celebrities for the year 2020, as it does every year.
According to the Forbes list, this year’s outbreak of the corona virus has led to a sharp drop in the earnings of many showbiz and sports personalities, with a total of 100 celebrities earning 200 million less this year than last year.
The 100 highest-earning personalities this year grossed a total of 6.1 billion, of which only one person earned 59 590 million.
Surprisingly, the highest-earning figure this year is 22-year-old TV star and model Kylie Jenner, who earned 59 590 million in the last 12 months.

Taylor Swift ranks 25th on Forbes’ 2020 list of highest earners, up from last year.
In 2019, Taylor Swift earned 18 185 million, this year her earnings fell to less than 65 million.
Kylie Jenner was second on the list last year, earning 17 170 million last year, but this year, despite Corona, she made three times as much as last year, with a total of 59 590 million.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is the only person from India to make it to the top 100 highest earning personalities and he is ranked 52nd in the list.

Akshay Kumar has grossed over 82 48.2 million in the last 12 months. Surprisingly, Chinese superstar Jackie Chan, Hollywood actress and singer Jennifer Lopez, singer Rihanna, actor Will Smith, tennis star Novak Djokovic, Travis Scott and Oprah Winfrey also lags behind them in earnings.
Interestingly, while Kylie Jenner topped the list with 59 590 million, her boyfriend and daughter’s father, singer Travis Scott, was ranked 82nd with 95 39.5 million.

The list shows that 22-year-old model Kylie Jenner’s earnings on one hand and the earnings of a dozen big stars and players on the other hand, but still Kylie Jenner’s earnings are higher than them.
Kylie Jenner’s half-sister and well-known TV star Kim Kardashian is ranked 48th on the list, while her fianc singer Kaine West is second with more than 170 million.
