Colombia: American experts have successfully used a special and harmless type of ultraviolet called “for ultraviolet” to eliminate a variety of viruses, including the corona virus, which are flying in the air.
A recent issue of the Open Access Research Journal, Nature Scientific Reports, published a study by Columbia University scientists that showed that they could detect many types of viruses using ultraviolet (far ultraviolet) rays. It should be noted that the use of ultraviolet rays in the elimination of germs and viruses is not a new thing, but the types of ultraviolet rays used for this purpose can be harmful and deadly to animals other than humans. Therefore, special precautions are required when using them.
In contrast, “far ultraviolet” rays with a wavelength of 207 nanometers to 222 nanometers can not only completely eradicate viruses and microbes, but are also not harmful to humans.
