Convicted Muhammad Asif also complained of discrimination

Lahore: Muhammad Asif, who was convicted in spot-fixing, has also complained of discrimination.

In his interview, former fast bowler Mohammad Asif said that everyone appreciated his bowling but the PCB did not try to save him. Cricketers before me were involved in match-fixing and continued to be involved later.

A few were given a second chance, after me there are some players involved in fixing who are still playing. Not everyone was treated equally.

Mohammad Asif said that the cricketers who were involved in fixing before me were working in the PCB while I was not given a chance to return. Mohammad Asif also termed the decision of Mohammad Aamir to quit Test cricket as wrong.
