But now, for the first time, Akshay Kumar, one of the few big superstars of Bollywood, has broken his silence several months after the death of Shashant Singh Rajput and drugs in the film industry.

He acknowledged that there is a problem of drug use in Bollywood but not everyone is a part of it.
In a video message on the social networking site Twitter, Akshay Kumar talked about it and asked the fans to consider everyone in Bollywood as bad.
“How can I lie with my hands on my heart that the drug problem does not exist in our industry,” he said.
“It’s the same in our profession as it is in the sector, but to say that everyone from every sector is part of these issues is wrong,” he said.
Akshay Kumar said, “After the sudden death of Shant Singh Rajput, a number of issues have arisen which are hurting us as much as you. These issues have forced us to look into our own necks, to see the flaws in our film industry that need to be addressed. ”

“Drugs are a legal issue and I am convinced that the steps being taken by law enforcement and the courts are correct. Will cooperate, but I join hands and plead not to consider the whole industry as part of it, it is not right.

Shashant Singh Rajput had apparently committed suicide on June 14 due to depression and an initial autopsy was conducted within the first three days, dismissing fears of his murder.
His detailed post-mortem report later revealed that the actor had apparently committed suicide by trapping himself and died of suffocation while no signs of torture were found on his body.
Although most experts and security officials agree that Shashant Singh apparently committed suicide, fans of the actor and his close relatives and family claim that he was harassed and forced to commit suicide.

Riya Chakraborty was arrested on September 8 on charges of arranging drugs for Shant Singh Rajput.
The Narcotics Bureau had also obtained a remand from the court after the arrest of Riya Chakraborty and his remand has been extended till October 6.
