Kalmeet Makar, CEO of Indian Film and Television Producers Guild of India, has died at the age of 60. According to the report of Indian Express, Kalmit Makar had suffered a heart attack after which he was rushed to the hospital but he could not recover.

Following the news of his demise, several Bollywood celebrities expressed their grief on social media.
Film producer and director Kiran Johar wrote in his tweet that ‘Kalmit Tum was a strong supporter of the Producers Guild of India, engaged in the struggle to move the industry forward, you left this world very quickly, we all want you always Will remember

Director Hansel Mehta lamented in his tweet, “And now Kalmit, my friend, be at peace.”
Farhan Akhtar also expressed his grief over his death.
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai wrote in his tweet that “Another shock to Bollywood, Kalmit Makar died of a heart attack. Our friend who was the voice of the industry, we will all remember you.”
This is the third consecutive death in a week in Bollywood.

According to Indian media reports, the actor had a colon infection.
The next day, on April 30, the news of the death of legendary actor Rishi Kapoor came to light.
Rishi Kapoor died at the age of 67 at Sir HM Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai.
Rishi Kapoor had been battling cancer for almost two years and was admitted to hospital with difficulty breathing where he died.
