LAHORE: National team captain Babar Azam has said that Younis Khan has done a lot for Pakistan and he considers it an honor to share a dressing room with Younis Khan.
Babar Azam, captain of the national ODI and T20 cricket team, says Younis Khan is a legend and appreciates his abilities, especially the way he used to plan to lengthen his innings.
Babar Azam said that he will learn a lot from his determination, resistance and patience. Younis Khan has done a lot for Pakistan and he considers it an honor to share the dressing room with Younis Khan.
“As a group of young players, we are welcome to see big names like Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan with us, which will have a positive impact on our future,” the national team captain said.
Babar Azam, the vice-captain of the national Test cricket team, has scored runs at a strike rate of more than 102 in the last five Tests. His 131-run partnership with Younis Khan in April 2017 is still etched in the minds of fans.
