I made the decision to return from retirement conditional on my PSL performance, Mohammad Amir

Lahore: Fast bowler Mohammad Amir made his decision to withdraw his retirement conditional on his performance in PSL.

He says that if Mickey Arthur comes as the head coach of the national team, it will be great for Pakistan cricket. The team has given good performance under his coaching. Still the performance will definitely be better. I am sure that under Najam Sethi, Pakistan cricket will move in the right direction.

Speaking to the media at the National High Performance Center, the left-arm pacer clarified that after the performances in Bangladesh and Pakistan Super League, it remains to be seen whether the national team needs me or not. Say anything about former chairman Ramiz Raja closing the door on players convicted of fixing. It does not matter.

I am playing leagues cricket. It is the job of the current board management to decide which player they consider the team needs or not. If Allah gives me a chance, I will play again in the national team.

He said that after being removed from the chairmanship, the kind of talk that Rameez Raja is talking about does not suit him. I thought Ramiz Raja was an educated man, I didn’t expect him to accuse anyone.

Talking about the injuries of fast bowlers due to not reducing the workload policy, Mohammad Amir was of the opinion that it is very important to rest a fast bowler.
