Today's drama does not go beyond topics like marriage and divorce, Bushra Ansari

Karachi: Senior actress of Pakistan TV Bushra Ansari has satirized today’s dramas and said that today’s drama was going beyond topics like marriage, divorce and affairs.

In an interview to Urdu News, Bushra Ansari shared many things about Pakistani drama and his private life. Nowadays, Bushra Ansari’s play “Zebayesh” is being shown on a private Pakistani channel in which Bushra Ansari herself is playing a very important role.

The play “Zebayesh” is getting mixed response from the audience, while most of the people in the play belong to the family of Bushra Ansari, which is why the play is under criticism.

Bushra Ansari said that while he is getting good response to the play, he is also getting criticism for bringing five members of his family together in the play. They think that sometimes having five talented people from the same family becomes a negative point.

Actress Bushra Ansari compared the artists of the present era with the artists of the PTV era and said that many new writers do not get a chance, there are ten times more talented people than them who could not come forward.

The good thing about commercial TV is that even a maid takes fifty thousand homes. “If we worked for eight days, we would get 800 rupees.

Bushra says she believes that today’s drama is not going beyond marriage, divorce and affairs. Remember that the subject of the drama serial “Zebayesh” is also based on divorce and the husband’s relationship with another woman.

However, in this regard, Bushra Ansari said that the color of PTV can be seen in his play “Zebayesh”. The dialogues of the play are reminiscent of PTV dramas.

She says that in my play I got divorced but that drama does not revolve around this divorce. The rest of the characters are also very important. I even named my play “Zebayesh”. The names of today’s dramas are “I want a divorce”, “I don’t want a son, I want a daughter”, etc. etc. I have even thought of the name.
