Samsung launches 2 'low cost' Galaxy phones in Pakistan

Samsung has introduced its 2 entry level smartphones in Pakistan. These Galaxy A series phones were introduced in Europe in November and have now been introduced in Pakistan.

Samsung has introduced these phones as the first models of the Galaxy A series for 2021.

These include the Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02S.

The Galaxy A12 will replace the Galaxy A11, which was introduced in March this year, with improved battery and camera setup.

The Galaxy A11 had a 4000 mAh battery but the new phone has a 5000 mAh battery with 15 watts fast charging support.

The Galaxy A11 had a set of 3 cameras on the back with 13-megapixel, 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors, compared to the A12 with 4 cameras.

The main camera is 48 megapixels while 5 megapixel Ultra Wide, 2 megapixel macro and 2 megapixel depth are part of this setup.

The Galaxy A12 has a 6.5-inch HD Plus Infinity V display with an 8-megapixel selfie camera hidden in the notch.

Inside the phone is an octacore processor but its name is not mentioned but it is possible that it could be Helio P35.

There are also 4GB RAM, 64GB and 128GB storage options that can be expanded up to 1TB with an SD card.

The 64 GB storage model will be priced at Rs 28,999 while the 128 GB version will be available at Rs 32,999.

Galaxy A02S

The Galaxy A01 is Samsung’s cheapest phone that was launched in December last year and now its updated model has been introduced.

The Galaxy A02S features a 6.5-inch HD Plus Infinity V display with an octa-core processor, possibly a Snapdragon 450.

This smartphone comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage which can be expanded up to one TB from SD card.

The phone has 3 cameras on the back, a 13-megapixel main camera with a 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 15 watt fast charging support, while the Galaxy A01 comes with a 3000 mAh battery.

The price of this phone has not been revealed yet but it is likely to be up to Rs 20,000.
