Rameez Raja advised Sarfraz Ahmed to retire from Test cricket

KARACHI: Former Pakistan captain Rameez Raja has advised Sarfraz Ahmed to retire from Test cricket and focus only on limited overs matches.

Rameez Raja said, “I don’t see Sarfraz getting a chance in the Test team in the near future. Anyway, the pressure is mounting on Mohammad Rizwan in his squad. I don’t think he should sit on the bench in Test matches.” While retiring from Test cricket, focus on white ball cricket in which he excels.

Regarding watering and carrying shoes to Sarfraz’s teammates in the first Test, Rameez said there was nothing wrong with that. In the second Test from the West Indies, when James Anderson did not play, he was also seen watering his teammates, but Such things are not considered good in Pakistani cricket culture, especially when there is a former captain.
