Apple introduced 15-watt wireless charging support in the iPhone 12 last week, and now Xiaomi has introduced 5 times faster technology in response.
The Chinese company has introduced an 80-watt wireless charger that can charge the Mi10 Pro’s 4,000 mAh battery from zero to 50% in just 8 minutes.

But more than that, this wireless charger can charge a 4000 mAh battery in just 19 minutes.
According to Xiaomi, this wireless charger can not only beat every wireless system available at the moment, but most wire charging systems cannot compete with it.
Oppo recently unveiled a 65-watt AirVOOC system that can fully charge a phone wirelessly in just 30 minutes.
But so far it has not taken the form of a commercial product.
Xiaomi currently owns the fastest wireless charging system, the Mi10 Ultra’s 50-watt wireless charger that can fully charge a 4500 mAh battery in 40 minutes.

On the other hand, most of the fastest wire or wire chargers are currently 65 watts, so Xiaomi’s 80 watt charger is definitely an important development.
Xiaomi has not yet said when the wireless charger will be launched in the market, but it is likely that it will be available to consumers in the near future as most of the company’s plans will soon be commercialized.
