The news is that the Chinese mobile company ‘Xiaomi’ is likely to have a 200 megapixel camera for the first time in its upcoming phone ’12T Pro’.
Until now, Xiaomi is the only company that has introduced the most powerful 108-megapixel camera in its phone, but the company wants to achieve a new honor for itself.
There are reports that the company will introduce a 200-megapixel camera with advanced technology in its phone ’12T Pro’ to be introduced by the end of this year.
According to leaked information about the company’s upcoming phone, the ’12T Pro’ will have a design similar to the company’s Redmi-branded phone, the ‘K50 Ultra’, and will feature three cameras on the back.
The new mobile is likely to feature a Snapdragon chip, while other systems including Android 12 operating system are likely to be added.
It is not clear which company’s technology the company will use in the 200-megapixel camera, the same company previously used Samsung’s technology in the 108-megapixel camera.
Earlier there were reports in this regard that Xiaomi’s 200-megapixel camera will take 50-megapixel photos by default and the pixel size will be 1.28 um. The current 108-megapixel camera sensor is capable of 2x or 3x lossless digital zoom. The 200-megapixel camera will likely be able to record 16K video (133 megapixels), but the processor required for this support is not yet available.
