TOKYO: Miss Sherlock’s world-famous Japanese actress Yoko Tikuchi has been found dead in her home.
According to the international news agency, the world famous Japanese actress has allegedly committed suicide. When the actress’ husband arrived home late at night, he found Yoko Tekochi dead. The actress was rushed to a hospital where her death was confirmed.
The husband of 40-year-old actress Yoko Tekochi is also from the showbiz industry and is a mother of two. Police have expressed concern that the actress has committed suicide, but it can be said only after the final forensic lab and post-mortem report.
Yoko Tekochi was Japan’s most popular and award-winning actress who rose to fame with her stellar performance in a horror film, which was also remade in Hollywood. Yoko Tekochi also won Best Actress three times in a row from 2004 to 2007.
It is yet to be confirmed that actress Yoko Tikuchi died of suicide, but this year two seemingly successful actors and a wrestler took their own lives in Japan.
The Japanese government has taken notice of the rising suicide rate and announced help for people suffering from depression.
