World Cup 2019 Waqar Younis should not forget defeat against India

Lahore: Waqar Younis could not forget the defeat to India in the World Cup 2019, he has said that wrong decisions were drowned out by the Pakistan team.

In the World Cup 2019, Pakistan lost to India by 89 runs. In the mega events, the Green Shirts faced their seventh consecutive defeat against their traditional rivals.

Talking about this in an interview, Waqar Younis said that Pakistan made wrong decisions from the beginning to the end in this match, bowling was decided after winning the toss, he thought that the pitch would help and the wickets in the beginning. The Blue Shirts will be put under pressure but the decision proved to be very wrong. Openers Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rawal thwarted all the tactics of the bowlers and formed a partnership of 136. Later, the grip of the Green Shirts on the match was loosened.
The current bowling coach of the national team said that in the matches of traditional rivals, one or another individual performance comes to the fore which becomes memorable. In the 2003 World Cup, Sachin Tendulkar tested Pakistan’s strong bowling line-up, chasing a target of 274. He played strokes all around the field, faced Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram and Mary Bowling under heavy pressure, scored quick runs in the beginning, it was an amazing innings, if you ask Tendulkar, maybe he Also call it your best innings.

It may be recalled that the Indian star could not complete the century by just 2 runs in this match, however, he provided a good start and played an important role in his team’s easy victory by 6 wickets.
