Washington: American scientists have created the world’s smallest robot that runs and weighs only three grains of rice.
Scientists at Washington State University have created this robot, which has been named the world’s smallest robot by the Guinness Book of World Records. It can be called a robotic whirlpool.
Professor Nestor Perez Arnsibia is a professor of mechanical and materials engineering at the University of Washington who created it with the help of his colleagues. They have named it ‘Robital’. The robot is powered by ethanol and has a system of air pressure and pneumatics. This robot moves and moves with the power of wind instead of electrical system.
It weighs just 88 milligrams and is listed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s smallest dynamic robot. It is about the size of a real whirlpool. It can currently climb slopes. It can travel through a variety of paths and can lift up to two and a half times its own weight.
The purpose of this robot is to understand the movement of real whirlpools, which cannot be called a toy.
