We consider Corona a drama and Ertugrul a reality, Faisal Qureshi

Pakistan has seen an increase in cases of corona after the softening of lockdown, and on June 4, the number of corona virus patients across the country exceeded that of China.

The corona virus started in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and the total number of infected people there so far is 84,200 while the number of infected people in Pakistan had reached 85,264 by the evening of June 4.

With the rise of Corona cases, while government figures appear to be instructing people to be extra careful, showbiz figures are also seen instructing people to be careful.

Actor Faisal Qureshi in his Instagram stories mocked the corona virus from the public while comparing Turkish drama Ertugrul Ghazi to reality and appealed to the people to be careful about the epidemic.

Faisal Qureshi wrote in his various stories that due to the neglect of Corona by Pakistanis, the number of patients in the country increased by 53,908 in the month of May alone.

Faisal Qureshi sarcastically reminded the people that 1983 people were affected by Corona in March, 14,435 in April and 53,908 in May.

“We are a nation that sees Corona as a drama and Ertugrul as a reality,” he wrote in another story.

The actress also clarified with reference to the same story that she is talking about the characters of Ertugrul Ghazi.

It is believed that the Turkish drama Ertugrul Ghazi has been airing on Pakistan Television (PTV) since April 24. The drama set new records in Pakistan and became the most watched drama on YouTube in Pakistan.

The story of this play revolves around the conquests of the Muslims in the 13th century, its story predates the establishment of the Muslim Ottoman Empire and the story of the play is much appreciated.

While the story of Ertugrul Ghazi is being appreciated, there are differences among political, social and showbiz personalities in Pakistan regarding its broadcast on state TV.

Some people believe that foreign dramas should not have been aired on state TV, but many say that while English films can be aired on PTV, why not Turkish dramas?
