Since this drama has gained public popularity, this section has been trying hard to reduce the effectiveness of this drama in some way. In this regard, sometimes he is distorting the history of the Ottomans, sometimes he is turning a blind eye to the personal lives of the characters of the drama and sometimes he is leaving this flower with full conviction that in this drama Ertugrul Ghazi is a mujahid.

He was not actually a Muslim. What is the real reason for his uneasiness? I will tell you in the end. At the moment we are trying to solve the mystery of whether Ertugrul was really a Muslim. ?

The gist of all the information we have about Ertugrul is that the Qai tribe, like many other Turkic tribes, migrated from present day Turkistan to Anatolia. Passing through a place here, Ertugrul with his hundred warriors helped the Seljuk contingent which was fighting the Crusaders.

The Seljuk Sultan was pleased to grant the tribe a jagir in Sogut and made Ertugrul the chief of the region. Ertugrul remained so until his death and fought the Mongols and the Crusaders. He remained loyal and ally of the Seljuk state until his death.

After his death, his son Usman became Sardar, who later declared his state due to the disintegration of the Seljuk Empire, which later became the most powerful empire in the world. And he also crowned the Khalifah on his head.

What we know about Ertugrul now does not exist in any authentic history because Turkmen lived a nomadic life up to that time and it was not customary for them to read and write like this. Everything we know about the Ottomans is authentic.

Sources say that this is the situation after the death of Ertugrul, that is, after 1300, when a formal state was established. Therefore, all our knowledge about Ertugrul is based on hearsay, assumptions and speculations.

One of these assumptions is cited by Dr. Muhammad Aziz in his book The Ottoman Empire. According to him, until 22 years ago, it was a fact that Ertugrul and his associates were Muslims before they entered Asia Minor, but in 1916, Herbert Adam Gibbons, an American journalist, wrote in his book, The Foundation of the Ottoman Empire. The source said that Uthman and his tribesmen were idolaters when they took refuge in Sogut.

One such opinion is that given by Dr. Ali Muhammad Salabi in his book “Ottoman Empire”. He says that as Ertugrul was advancing northwest of Anatolia, he saw Seljuk and Crusaders fighting on the way.

The Crusaders were pushing the Islamic army back. Ertugrul had no choice but to move forward with full courage and bravery and get our religion and fellow believers out of this predicament.

The Islamic army won the war and fell in love with its emir, Ertugrul, and was thus granted a jagir (sougot) by the Seljuks in western Anatolia. A powerful ally was found who had a great strength against the Crusaders.

Similarly, Clifford E. Bosworth, in his book “Islamic Empires”, wrote about the Ottomans that when Ottoman governments were being established in other parts of Anatolia, the Ottomans were engaged in a struggle with the Byzantines.

They were strengthened by new Turkmen from the East because they were eager to become conquerors against the Christian immigrants (ie, they had the spirit of Islamic Jihad).

Ertugrul Ghazi and the Past Nations

Only the first of these three opinions refers to Herbert Adam Gibbons as being a non Muslim of Ertugrul and his tribe. The other two views call Ertugrul and his tribe Muslims. Now that there is no authoritative history and opinion, then whoever wants to make your beauty charismatic.

Whoever wants to make an assumption or believe in any assumption. One thing is for sure, the arguments for the hypothesis they believe in are very weak. Let us see what historical evidence suggests that the conversion of Ertugrul and his tribe to Islam is stronger.

  1. The first argument is that in general all the Turkish tribes converted to Islam during the time of Hazrat Umar(RA), Hazrat Usman(RA) and shortly thereafter. The Muslims first made contact with the Turks in 652 AD, when the Islamic army under the leadership of Abdul Rahman bin Rabia advanced towards the Turkish territories in the time of Hazrat Umar.
  2. Got along with the same army later conquered parts of northern Persia. Later, influenced by the good morals and Islamic teachings of the Muslims, the Turks became Muslims. Then, in the time of Hazrat Usman(RA), the Islamic army encamped in the area of Maral Nahar. There came a time when all the Turkic tribes in the ancient Turkish region converted to Islam and joined the Islamic army and engaged in jihadist activities. Which was subject to the Abbasid Caliphate. From time to time the brothers of these Turks migrated from the Marvel Canal Turkistan to Anatolia from time to time.
  3. The fact that Ertugrul supported the Islamic army instead of the Christian army is in itself a proof that it was a matter of faith and religion.
  4. Ertugrul named his son ‘Usman, which is an Arabic name and is related to Hazrat Usman(RA), the righteous caliph, a companion of the Holy Prophet(PBUH).
  5. The close associate of Ertugrul was Abdul Rahman, an Islamic name.
  6. Ertugrul was married to Halima Sultan, the niece of the Seljuk Sultan, who was a Muslim.
  7. Usman married Mal Khatun, the daughter of a Muslim Sufi.
  8. The way in which Ertugrul fought against the Crusaders and the Mongols indicates more religious support than any tribal bigotry.
  9. Usman founded the Islamic State ten years after his father’s death, a sign of the Islamic spirit of his tribe.
  10. If Ertugrul was an idolater, then why is his grave? He should have been burnt, but Ertugrul’s tomb still exists in Sogut.
10 Ghazi, written under the name of Ertugrul, is itself a symbol of jihad and Islamic teachings.

These are the historical evidences which show that Ertugrul and his tribe were already Muslims and they fought against the Crusaders and the Mongols because of their faith, which led to the formation of an Islamic state.

What emerged as the great Ottoman Caliphate of the future. It is also important to understand that just as the English Orientalists and historians tried to distort the history of India and contaminate the Islamic era in India, so did the weak Khilafah.

After the fall, they also targeted the Ottoman Caliphate and tried to distort its history. This is what the liberal class is doing today in one form or another.

Now again the question arises as to what the liberal class and the nationalists are happy with such a historical drama. So let’s take a look at the drama “Ertugrul” to know the answer.

The culture portrayed in the play “Ertugrul Ghazi” is Turkish Islamic culture with a beautiful blend of religion and local traditions. The basic characteristics of this drama include the concepts of purity, zeal of faith and the supremacy of Islam.

Similarly, its spirit is basically jihadi. The drama begins with the slogans of Allahu Akbar wielding iron for the sword, which are full of zeal and passion for the power of jihad. Become a forerunner of the atmosphere.

So, in fact, these are the reasons why the liberal class is not only angry but also afraid of this drama. In their view, the Muslim world should not show such zeal for faith, repair for Islam and jihadist ideas.

Turkish series "Ertugrul Ghazi" is smashing records and conquering hearts

They think that Muslims should watch dramas like “Game of Thrones” so that viruses like liberalism and obscenity can take their place in them. In fact, their problem is not with domestic or foreign culture but with Islamic and non Islamic culture and it is also clear in which tent they are taking refuge.
