Umar Gul and Imran Farhat decide to retire from cricket

Test cricketers Umar Gul and Imran Farhat have decided to end their long association with cricket.

Former national team fast bowler Umar Gul has decided to retire from cricket. The National T20 Cup starting from September 30 in Multan will be his last tournament. Pacers are part of Balochistan’s First XI. His role as a mentor in the team will be more important.

Sources said that retirement was the right time to be associated with the Pakistan Cricket Board as a coach. Even when he was made a member of the cricket committee, questions were raised that an active cricketer should not be given this responsibility, conflict of interest. That is why he has now decided to make a career out of cricket at all levels.
It may be recalled that Umar Gul has done a level two coaching course and in an interview with Cricket Pakistan recently, he had hinted at making a career as a coach.

On the other hand, Test cricketer Imran Farhat has also decided to end his long association with cricket. He has informed the Pakistan Cricket Board officials that this will be his last domestic season. He wants to make a name for himself in the field of coaching in the future.

Confirming his retirement plan with Express News, Imran Farhat said that he has been playing cricket for 22 years and now he wants to teach the new boys the intricacies of the game. Increase my knowledge by taking courses.

It should be noted that Imran Farhat represented Pakistan in 40 Tests and 58 ODIs. He also has the honor of playing seven T20 matches. Imran Farhat, 48, is currently the oldest and most experienced batsman of the current domestic season. Imran Farhat, who started his international career in 2001, apologized for his wife’s visit to Zimbabwe in 2013 due to his wife’s illness, after which he could not back down.
