Due to the unavailability of vaccines against the corona virus, various drugs and methods are being tested around the world for the treatment of corona patients and now American experts have started testing another new drug on patients with this disease.

While chloroquine, a drug used to treat malaria, is being tested for coronavirus patients, methods such as blood plasma are also being tested for the disease.
In addition, in some countries, some other drugs are being tested on corona patients to see which drugs can prevent the epidemic.
For the same purpose, the largest hospital network in New York City, USA, has started testing the medicine for heart, chest and stomach irritation on patients with corona virus.
According to the US broadcaster CNN, the hospital’s specialists have so far registered 187 volunteers to test the drug, and experts have begun testing a new drug on those volunteers.

The report states that volunteers at the Feinstein Institute of Medical Research Center in the Northwell Hospital Network in New York City began administering dosage of famotidine, a common drug used to treat heart, chest, and gastrointestinal irritation.
Dr. Kevin Tracy, president of the research center, said that if the test of the drug gives good results, it will be the best, cheapest and quickest treatment for corona so far.
According to Dr. Kevin Tracy, there are many examples in the history of medicine that medicines made for other diseases have a good effect on another disease and they solve the problem.
Giving his personal opinion, he said that he thinks that the medicine for heart, chest and stomach irritation will not work on the patients of Corona, however, anything can happen in science.
The president of the Medical Research Center said that he and his team did not know what the results of the drug test would be, but they need to know the problem by testing the drug.

He said more volunteers were needed for the pilot program and he was confident that about 1,200 people would register for the pilot program.
Referring to the drug trial program, he said that he has started giving heavy doses to the volunteers and the said drug is being given to each volunteer 9 times and such dose is not given to the patients suffering from heart, stomach and heartburn. ۔
Patients are also being given chloroquine, an anti-malarial drug used by US experts to treat coronary heart disease with heart, chest and gastrointestinal irritants.
