ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed regret over reports of mistreatment of corona virus patients.

In a meeting of the National Health Task Force, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the patients of Korona should be treated responsibly and the people should feel the symptoms and get tested. The meeting was attended by Chairman National Health Task Force Dr. Noshirwan Burki, Special Assistant for Health Dr. Zafar Mirza, Punjab Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Timur Saleem Jhagra and senior officials through video link. The provincial health ministers briefed the meeting on the status of corona virus in their provinces, care of patients in hospitals, measures to protect and facilitate doctors and medical staff, and enhancement of corona testing capacity.

Briefing the Prime Minister’s Focal Person for CoVID-19, Dr. Faisal on the statistics of corona virus victims in different provinces and regions of the country, mortality rate, case ratio, said that Pakistan was less affected by corona virus than other countries.
