Third Test: England scored 332 for 4 on the first day

Thanks to the brilliant batting of Zack Crowley, on the first day of the third Test match against Pakistan, England consolidated their position and scored 332 runs for 4 wickets.

In the third and final match of the series being played in Southampton, England won the toss and elected to bat first. Zack Crowley and Jazz Butler took full advantage.

The Pakistani bowlers got off to a good start and Rory Burns returned to the pavilion with just six runs due to a superb catch by Shaun Masood.

Dom Sibley was followed by Zack Crowley and the two players took a relatively aggressive approach, forging a 61-run partnership to take the score to 73.

On this occasion, Yasir Shah gave a significant victory to Pakistan and forced Sibli, who scored 22 runs, to return to the pavilion.

Captain Joe Root and Crowley also added 41 runs for the third wicket but before this partnership could prove more dangerous, English captain Naseem Shah’s wicket became.

The English team had not yet recovered from the loss that Yasir Shah had given to Pakistan for the fourth time after scattering the wickets of Oli Pope.

A wicket fell shortly after the England captain was dismissed, but Zack Crowley and Jazz Butler added 205 runs for the fifth wicket partnership, during which Crowley also completed an innings of 150 runs.

Jazz Butler not only completed his half-century but also was on the crease with 87 runs at the end of the day.

Crawley is on 171 and Jose Butler is on 87.

Yasir Shah 2, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi have taken one wicket each for Pakistan.

Earlier, England won the toss and elected to bat first in the third Test against Pakistan.

In the third Test match of the series being played in Southampton, England captain Joe Root won the toss and elected to bat first.

The England captain said that this wicket will be drier than the previous wicket and we will take advantage of this wicket later.

England made a change to the squad for the match and Joffre Archer has been added to the English squad in place of Sam Kiran.

On the other hand, Pakistan has not made any changes in the squad for the second match and has maintained the same.

Azhar Ali said that we will try to take wickets as soon as possible using the conditions as this match is very important for us.

Both teams consist of these players for the match.

England: Joe Root (captain), Dom Sibley, Rory Burns, Zack Crowley, Oli Pope, Jose Butler, Chris Vokes, Dom Base, Joffre Archer, Stuart Broad and James Anderson

It should be noted that England has a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
