LAHORE: Pakistan has sent a bio-security plan to Zimbabwe Cricket but the visiting squad will have to endure five days in solitary confinement.

The Zimbabwean cricket team is scheduled to visit Pakistan next month for a series of three ODIs in Multan and the same number of T20 matches in Rawalpindi. Talks between the boards of the two countries have entered the final stages.

Sources said that the PCB had sent the preliminary details of the Corona SOPs to Zimbabwe Cricket, in which the health of the players, support staff and concerned people has been declared as the top priority.

The PCB is awaiting a written reply from Zimbabwe Cricket, which will release the schedule as soon as it is received. The Zimbabwean Board has written a letter to its government seeking permission, with a strong possibility of a positive response.
