Imagine staying in a hotel that is covered with ‘gold’?
In fact, it is not a dream but a reality as the first hotel of its kind opens in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, where guests are served coffee cups.
Dolce By Windham Hanoi Golden Lake is a luxurious 5-star hotel with an area of 5,000 square meters decorated with gold-plated ceramics tiles.
It is the world’s first gold-plated hotel, and its Vietnamese owners insist that despite the global travel ban due to the corona virus epidemic, the number of visitors will be high.
The hotel is located on the shores of Lake Giangwu, on the outskirts of Honai, with a gold-plated infinity pool overlooking the city.
The hotel’s website also cites the health benefits of sleeping, suggesting that some gold may be included in the diet.
The hotel’s Facebook page said, “You may be wondering why 24 carat gold? So know that this is the most unique building in our city, the entire exterior, while the interior, including the bathroom accessories and infinity pool is decorated with 24 carat gold.
In fact, the administration claims that the use of gold in places will be beneficial for the health of the people living there.
According to Facebook posts, the direct use of gold on the skin reduces the severity of joint diseases, reduces inflammation, skin care, controls body temperature and improves mood.
Decorated with 24 carat gold, the hotel cost کروڑ 200 million (over 33 billion Pakistani rupees).
One and a half hundred dollars (about 42,000 Pakistani rupees) will have to be paid for a night’s stay there.
Nagino Hoodong, chairman of Hua Bana Group, which owns the hotel, told AFP that the hotel wants to make ordinary people feel very rich when they stay there.
“Gold plating was purchased locally, which significantly reduced construction costs. Our group has a factory where gold plating is done, so the cost of our equipment and furniture is much lower,” he said.
