Dubai: The winning team of the Twenty20 World Cup will hold the glittering trophy on November 14, while the front line of 16 teams has been prepared.

Before the World Cup, the BCCI will also host its postponed IPL in the UAE, which starts on September 19. The final is expected on October 14. Although the World Cup is scheduled to start in just three days, the ICC is confident. It has been announced that the pitch and fields will be ready for the mega event.

The first round of the tournament will be played between 8 teams, divided into 2 groups. There will be a total of 12 matches in these sides which are divided into UAE and Oman. Bangladesh, which did not make it to the top 8 in the rankings till the due date. And along with Sri Lankan teams, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, Oman, Papua New Guinea are among these teams.

The top 4 teams will join the remaining 8 sides in the Super 12. All 30 matches of this group will be in Zee E, the Super 12 stage will start from October 14, the teams will be divided into 2 groups of 6, 6, followed by 3 play-off games, 2 semi-finals and 14 November. Has a final schedule.

ICC chief executive Jeff Allardyce said: “We are disappointed that the event did not take place in India, but the safest way to hold it is our only priority. This decision will allow us to host the tournament in a country with a multi-team environment Events have been held.
