WASHINGTON: Another benefit of aspirin, a magical drug used for over a century, has been found in coronavirus patients. May reduce the rate.
Research from George Washington University has revealed that aspirin may also have the ability to protect the lungs. Scientists here believe that there is a tendency all over the world for blood clots in patients with COD 19, and that aspirin precludes this. In this regard, patients infected with corona virus were given small amounts of aspirin regularly.
“Our research shows that there is a link between low doses of aspirin and low mortality in Code 19 patients,” said Jonathan Chow, an associate professor at the university. In this regard, more than 400 patients were tested in various hospitals in the United States from March to July 2020.
Among the hundreds of patients who were given aspirin, those who did not take aspirin had a 44% lower rate of going to a machine ventilator, a 43% lower rate of ICU admission, and a 47% lower hospital mortality rate. These encouraging results have been published in a research journal.
To a large extent, it can be said that a large number of people infected with the corona virus can benefit greatly if they continue to use aspirin.
