ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced to open educational institutions across the country from September 15.
During a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood said that the situation in Corona had caused a great loss of education. In the meetings we held, various issues including opening of schools were discussed. It has been decided to open from September. The Federal Minister for Education said that it has been decided that various educational institutions should be allowed to open administrative offices first. After Eid-ul-Adha or early August, schools, colleges, universities will be able to call teachers and staff and practice safety arrangements or SOPs. The provinces have the power to set a date or time in this regard.
Shafqat Mahmood said that the examinations were stopped after March 13, but now the institutions which want to take the examinations can do so from the second week of July. Examinations for university admissions have been directed to be extended to two days to avoid crowds. Examinations will be held in an open field, the distance between students will be 6 feet.
