The death rate from Code 19 is lower than before, research

The death rate of patients undergoing treatment at the hospital has decreased due to the new corona virus, which is caused by code 19. This suggests that strategies and treatment modalities are working well to prevent the disease.

This was revealed in 2 new research reports.

Both reports will soon be published in the medical journal Journal of Hospital Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

“We found that Code 19 significantly reduced mortality,” said Leora Horotz, a New York University expert involved in the study.

At the same time, he said, the death rate is still much higher than in many epidemics, including the flu, while code 19 could be very dangerous in the long run.

Levera Horotz and colleagues analyzed the mortality rate of 5,000 people being treated at New York University Langone Health from March to August.

They found that the death rate had dropped by 18% over time.

The study found that at the onset of the epidemic, patients had a 25 percent chance of dying, which has now dropped to 7 percent.

The research team, taking into account various factors such as age and other diseases, found that the death rate has decreased in every age group.

Preliminary results of the study were released in print in August and are now being published in a medical journal next month.

The second study was conducted in the UK and also showed a decrease in the death rate.

The study analyzed the mortality rate of 21,000 hospitalized patients from March to June, which gradually declined.

During this period, the mortality rate decreased by 20% and this decrease was seen in all age groups and people suffering from various diseases.

Preliminary results of the study were also published in August and are now soon becoming part of a medical journal.

Researcher Bilal Matin, who was involved in the study, said it was clear that something had happened to the patients’ risk of death, which had improved the situation.

Earlier, medical experts had noticed an improvement in the treatment of patients suffering from severe severity of code 19, which has helped people with blood clots and immune system problems.

Researchers from both research reports said that precautionary measures against COD 19, such as social distance and the use of face masks, also reduced the viral load in people exposed to the virus, which reduced the severity of the disease.

Researchers and medical officials will now look at Code 19 cases and mortality rates during the winter to determine the mortality rate.

“I think that’s good news, but it doesn’t mean the corona virus has become a common disease,” said Leora Horotz.

A study by Wayne State University in the United States this month found that patients undergoing treatment at Detroit Medical Center saw an reduction in average viral load as the epidemic progressed, while the severity of COD 19 also moderated. Was done

“People were coming with more viral load at the onset of the epidemic, more people were being admitted to the hospital, more people were dying, but as the epidemic progressed, deaths in the hospital The number of admissions has decreased while the amount of viral load in patients has decreased.

The study said that this is a sign that precautionary measures such as face masks or social distance are reducing the amount of the virus in people who are infected for the first time.

It also suggests that low viral loads are reducing mortality.

However, researchers say more research is needed to reach a final conclusion.

Research on the viral load and its effects on a patient is very difficult because researchers cannot deliberately infect people with the virus, so experts relied on examining pre-existing patients.

For this purpose, the researchers took viral load samples from the nose and throat swabs of patients admitted to the hospital from early April to early June.

In more than 700 samples, the researchers found that patients’ average viral load decreased over time.

In the first week of the study, about 50% of the samples had neither too high nor too low viral rates, while 25% of the samples had very high viral loads, while the rest had low rates.

But when the research entered its 5th week, the viral load rate was lower in the majority of the samples, or 70%.

The study found that patients with a high viral load had serious consequences.

According to the study, 14% of patients with low or moderate viral load died while the rate was recorded in patients with high viral load up to 50%.

However, the researchers acknowledged that more work was needed because research was somewhat limited.

But the evidence clearly shows that face masks and social distance reduce mortality.

In many cases, face masks and social distance help to keep the disease completely away, but it is also possible that they result in lesser amounts of the virus reaching people, which also reduces the amount of viral load in the body. Is.

When people are exposed to low viral load, their immune system does not respond more aggressively, leading to milder symptoms.
