GENEVA: The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the vaccine will be ready by the end of this year, but that political leadership must play a role in the fair distribution of the vaccine.
Addressing a meeting of the executive board, he said the good news was that we desperately needed a vaccine to fight corona and hoped that the vaccine would be ready by the end of this year.

The head of the WHO added that solidarity and political commitment are needed for the fair distribution of the vaccine once it is ready. Modern scientific and social regulations must be followed to make the vaccine accessible to everyone.
Tedros Adhanom Ghibrisis added that nine vaccines are currently in the final stages of development. The WHO’s “Kovacs Global Vaccine Facility” includes 168 countries committed to developing 2 billion doses of the vaccine.

It should be noted that the European Union has launched a “real-time review” phase on the corona vaccine, developed jointly by the American pharmaceutical company Pfizer and Germany’s Bioen Tech.
