The International Cricket Council (ICC) has canceled all T20 World Cup qualifiers as well as the World Cup trophy World Tour due to the rapidly spreading epidemic corona virus.
According to a statement issued by the Cricket World Governing Body on Thursday, all ICC contests prior to June 30 have been canceled.
The statement said that after a thorough review of the current situation, all contests held before June 30 keeping in view the health and well-being of the cricket community have been canceled and the situation will be reviewed again later.
At least 8 contests have been affected as a result of this global outbreak.

The 2021 World Cup Qualifiers and 2023 World Cup Qualifiers will also be reviewed while the ICC Women’s World Qualifiers are under consideration.
The ICC has also recently banned the Women’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour in Australia this year.
Chris Tatley, head of the ICC’s global competition, said in a statement on Thursday that the ICC had to postpone all competitions by the end of June, given the global challenges posed by the Corona virus and worldwide sanctions. What is the decision
“The health of the players, the fans and the staff is our top priority, and all concerned need to take account of their interests,” he said.

The cancellation of all competitions and world events including football, cricket, tennis has been announced while the Olympics have also been postponed.
