Student making eco-friendly stool from used mask

Seoul: A South Korean student has re-used a used face mask to create an eco-friendly stool.

Many people around the world took advantage of the Corona epidemic to take advantage of the lockdown, some fulfilling their desires and others experimenting, including South Korea. There are also ‘Kim Han Naval’ students who made great use of used face masks.

Kim Han Naval, a 23-year-old furniture designer from a university in South Korea, decided to make an eco-friendly stool out of used masks, and initially kept a donation box at his university in which all students Appealed to them to put their used mask in this box instead of throwing it away.

Kim collected more than 10,000 masks from the donation box and also contacted the factory and received a ton of bad masks from there, as these masks were used by people to reduce the risk of spreading the corona virus. To do this, Kim set aside all the masks for 4 days.

After removing the elastic threads from the masks, they were melted down, after which Kim made 18-inch eco-friendly stools of different colors, which he used in his graduation show. The young student has appealed to private organizations in all countries and around the world to reuse the mask instead of wasting it.

In an interview, Kim Han said that if plastic can be reused, why can’t we reuse face masks, they are also made of plastic. He said the design he was working on required at least 1,500 masks to create an eco-friendly stool, which is not yet for sale, but I used these masks to make chairs, tables and other items. I am also interested in making.
