Sohail Khan’s devastating bowling again put the team management to the test

Sohail Khan, an experienced fast bowler of the national team, has sounded the alarm bell for England with his excellent form and has also created difficulties for the national team management.

In the second four-day match between Pakistan squads at the County Ground Derby, Team White won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Team Green consisted of all 11 players who will likely represent Pakistan in the first Test against England, so Team Green will be led by Azhar Ali and Team White will be led by Sarfraz Ahmed.

The start of Team Green’s innings was nothing short of a nightmare and Sohail Khan spelled out the first three batsmen in the pavilion.

Shaun Masood, Abid Ali and Azhar Ali of Team Green led by Azhar Ali returned to the pavilion without entering the double figure and lost three wickets for 23 runs.

Asad Shafiq and Babar Azam had reached the score of 45 when Asad, who scored 9 runs, also returned to the pavilion.

After that Mohammad Rizwan and Shadab resisted for a while but on the score of 86, Sohail Khan scattered Shadab’s wickets to give his team its sixth victory.

Mohammad Rizwan scored 18 runs but Faheem Ashraf ended his innings to lead his team to a significant victory.

Team Green could not bat even for 50 overs and the entire team returned to the pavilion for 113 runs.

Sohail Khan bowled well and took 5 wickets while Faheem Ashraf took two wickets.

After which the team’s openers Fakhr Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq gave their team a good start of 41 runs after which Fakhr went on after scoring 22 runs while the score reached 50 then Haider Ali became the wicket of Shaun Masood after scoring only 7 runs.

Team White was shocked when Imam-ul-Haq retired with a score of 50 and returned to the pavilion.

After that, Fawad Alam and Iftikhar Ahmed had just reached 77 when Iftikhar’s innings came to an end at the hands of Yasir Shah.

By the end of the first day’s play, Team White had scored 88 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.

Naseem Shah, Shaun Masood and Yasir Shah took one wicket each for Team Green.

On the other hand, Sohail Khan’s excellent form has created new difficulties for the team management and he is facing difficulties in forming the final XI for the match against England.

Sohail Khan had taken 5 wickets in an innings of the first warm-up match and has proved his form by performing the same feat in the second match as well.

Pakistan team management intends to play with Muhammad Abbas, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah in the first Test match against England.

However, after Sohail Khan’s excellent form, it has become very difficult for Pakistan to choose any of these four and the selection of the national team’s final XI for the first Test match will be a big test for the team management
