In a letter to the DGFA through lawyer Abu Zar Salman Niazi, Shoaib Akhtar has taken a stand that the basis on which Inspector Waqaz Rizwan has asked him to appear before the court should be investigated.
The former cricketer, while confirming the receipt of the FIA notice, has already termed the notice as vague and beyond comprehension.
It should be noted that PCB legal adviser Tafazul Rizvi has filed a case against Shoaib Akhtar in the FIA on which he has been issued a notice to appear in the Shadman office on June 5 at 11 am
