ISLAMABAD: Two well-known politicians of the country have succumbed to the deadly corona virus.
Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s Corona test has come positive and he has gone into isolation. Sheikh Rashid apparently has no symptoms of corona but will remain in quarantine for two weeks as directed by doctors.
Meanwhile, PML-N leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also contracted the corona virus. PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb said that senior vice president of the party Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had contracted the corona virus. He tested Corona which came positive, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has quarantined himself at home.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif lamented that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was suffering from corona and said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is a valuable asset of the party.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is an honest, competent and loyal person who has the pain of the nation. The growing number of victims of Corona has taken a terrible shape. Give perfect health to the affected people.
It should be noted that the number of corona virus patients in the country has reached 13,671 while 2,067 people have died.
