Samsung Introduces 2 Galaxy A Series Midrange Smartphones

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A series of mid-range smartphones. The Galaxy A52 and A72 were unveiled at an online event.

The Galaxy A52 has been introduced in 4G and 5G versions while only the 4G version of the A72 will be available.

The phone has a 6.5-inch flat display that weighs 189 grams and the battery can work for 2 days on a full charge.

The display of the phone is equipped with AMOLED panel while the refresh rate is 90 Hz in 4G model and 120 Hz in 5G model.

According to the company, Gorilla Glass 5 is used to protect the display while it is water and dust resistant, which can be immersed in one meter of water for 30 minutes.

The 4G model of the phone is equipped with Snapdragon 720G while the 5G version is equipped with Snapdragon 750G processor.

Similarly, the 4G model has 4, 6 and 8 GB RAM options while the 5G model will have 6 and 8 GB RAM.

Both versions come with 128 to 256 GB of storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.

The highlight of the phone is its camera setup with a total of 5 cameras.

The phone has a 64-megapixel main camera with an F1.8 aperture, while optical image stabilization and tetra banning technology are part of the camera.

The company said that night mode shots will support 12 frames while images taken in low light from OIS do not allow pixels to explode.

In addition, a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle camera, 5 megapixel macro and 5 megapixel depth sensor camera are part of this setup.

The 32 megapixel camera on the front is printed in a punch hole design.

The Android 11 operating system is integrated with OneUI 3.0, while the selfie camera can be used for fee unlock while the fingerprint sensor is installed inside the display.

Both phones will soon be available to consumers, with the 4G version available for 350 Euros (over 65,000 Pakistani rupees) and the 5G model for 430 Euros (over 80,000 Pakistani rupees).

The Galaxy A72 has a 6.7-inch display while the Snapdragon 720G processor is part of the phone.

According to the company, the phone has a Super AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a fingerprint sensor is installed inside the screen.

It also has a 32-megapixel selfie camera in a punch-hole design that is located in the center of the upper part of the display.

It is also a water and dust resistant phone while 2 wireless headphones can be connected to the device simultaneously via advanced Bluetooth.

The phone also has a headphone jack, while Dolby Atmos inefficient stereo speakers are also part of the device.

The 5000 mAh battery of the Galaxy A72 has 25 watt fast charging support and 2 days of battery life on a full charge, according to the company.

The phone comes with 6 to 8 GB RAM and 128 to 256 GB storage which can be further expanded with an SD card.

The Android 11 operating system is integrated with OneUI 3.0 and has a 4-camera setup on the back.

The main camera of the phone is 64 megapixels like the Galaxy A52 and the features are the same.

In addition, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera (3x optical zoom) and a 5-megapixel macro camera are also part of the setup.

This phone will also be available to the users soon and its model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will be available for 450 Euros (more than 83 thousand Pakistani rupees).

The company has not yet announced the price of the version with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
