KARACHI: Former opening batsman and commentator Rameez Raja has presented a four-point plan for the betterment of Pakistan cricket.
Rameez Raja said that the quality of pitches at club and domestic level is very poor, unless there are good pitches, there can be no top class competition, you can achieve as much as you want, but unless you focus on pitches, you can’t achieve anything. ۔
Regarding the first-class cricket structure, he said that first it should be decided whether you want to have regional teams or return to professional organizations, then focus on those teams, invite foreign stars.
The schedule of all competitions should be published before the start of the season so that the fans are already aware. Similarly, appropriate steps should be taken to improve the cricket administration and bring out the talent.
