Lahore Qalandars beat Quetta Gladiators by 9 wickets in the fourth match of Pakistan Super League 6 played at National Stadium, Karachi. Lahore team achieved the target of 179 runs of Quetta Gladiators in 18.2 overs at a loss of one wicket.

Fakhruzzaman and Sohail Akhtar started the innings for Lahore in pursuit of Quetta Gladiators’ 179-run target and formed an opening partnership of 64 runs after which Sohail Akhtar was dismissed for 21 runs.
Mohammad Hafeez, who came down one, played an aggressive game with opener Fakhr Zaman and put up a partnership of 115 runs. Mohammad Hafeez played an innings of 73 and Fakhr Zaman scored 82 which helped Lahore Qalandars reach the target in 18.2 overs.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bowl against Quetta Gladiators. Tom Bunton and Saeem Ayub started the innings for Quetta. However, both the openers could not perform well and both scored only 12 runs. After returning to the pavilion, Chris Gayle and Sarfraz Ahmed took over the team.

Chris Gayle and Sarfraz Ahmed shared a 101-run stand, after which Sarfraz was dismissed for 40, while in the next over, Rashid Khan bowled Chris Gayle for 68, followed by Azam Khan who scored just 19 runs. Mohammad Nawaz, who came in at number six, showed an aggressive innings and scored 33 runs off just 20 balls, thanks to which Quetta scored 178 runs in the allotted overs.

For Lahore Qalandars, Haris Rauf took three wickets while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Ahmed Danial and Rashid Khan took one wicket each.
