Moscow: Russia has successfully tested a cruise missile on the occasion of President Vladimir Putin’s birthday.
According to the International News Agency, Russian Army Chief of General Staff Valery Grasimov on Wednesday informed President Vladimir Putin via video link that the test of the hypersonic cruise missile was successful.
The Chief of General Staff told the President that on the occasion of his 68th birthday, Admiral Gorshkov’s navy in the White Sea of northern Russia fired a missile that hit the right target.

President Putin praised Wednesday’s successful experiment, calling it an important opportunity for Russian forces and the people. It should be noted that Vladimir Putin, who is known in the Western media as Russia’s Iron Man, had announced to increase his country’s defense force many times in 2018.
