Police in Mumbai, Maharashtra, have summoned Bollywood filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap to investigate the ‘rape’ allegations.
According to Indian newspaper India Today, Mumbai’s Versova police station has issued a summons to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap to appear at the police station for interrogation and record his statement.

In the summons, Anurag Kashyap was directed to reach the police station by 11.30 am on October 1 and record his statement.

Payal Ghosh had protested at the police station on September 29 after Anurag Kashyap was not summoned by the police for questioning for four days after the case was filed.
A day after the actress’ protest, the police ordered Anurag Kashyap to appear at the police station and record his statement.
Surprisingly, Payal Ghosh initially accused Anurag Kashyap of sexual exploitation on September 19, but he has filed a ‘rape’ case against the filmmaker.

Initially, Pail Ghosh mentioned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in his short tweet on September 19, claiming that the filmmaker tried to force him.
