Partnership with a leading company for PSL e-ticketing

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed e-ticketing company Bookme.pk as the official ticketing partner for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021.

The PCB said in a statement that the PSL would kick off on February 20 at the National Stadium in Karachi and 20 per cent spectators were allowed to attend with the permission of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC).

The statement said that cricket fans will be able to buy tickets for the matches from bookme.pk and the money can be transferred with jazz cash or easy money while more details including ticket prices will be released soon.

“We congratulate Bookme.pk on becoming the official ticketing partner for PSL 2021 and hope that the company will provide high quality services to cricket fans,” said PCB Director Commercial Babar Hamid.

He said that he was happy to allow a limited number of spectators to enter the stadium, while the PCB would ensure full implementation of the Code-19 protocols, including social distance.

Faizan Aslam, Chief Executive Officer, Bookme.pk, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the PCB. We encourage fans to buy high quality tickets digitally at home instead of standing in queues. Will provide facilities.

It may be recalled that the NCOC had allowed a limited number of spectators to enter the stadium in the Pakistan Super League 2021.

The PCB had said that the NCOC had allowed spectators to enter the stadiums during HBL, PSL 2021 and decided that 20 per cent spectators would be allowed to enter during league matches.

All the matches of PSL 2021 will be played in Pakistan and teams will be seen playing in the stadiums of 2 major cities of the country, Karachi and Lahore.

According to the PCB, as per the decision of the NCOC, a total of 7,500 spectators at the National Stadium in Karachi and a total of 5,500 spectators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be able to enjoy live action by sitting in the stadium.

In the meantime, the two bodies, the NCOC and the Pakistan Cricket Board, will jointly review the situation, after which it will be considered whether to increase the number of spectators for the three play-off matches and the final. no.

A statement issued by the PCB said that the board had made it clear to the NCOC in a detailed briefing that the organizers of the event and the cricket board would fully implement the code 19K SOPs prepared by the government during the matches.

It should be noted that the first match of PSL will be played on February 20 at the National Stadium in Karachi in which the teams of Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators will compete.

A total of 34 matches will be played in the 30-day event, but due to the corona virus epidemic, the matches will be played in Karachi and Lahore.

The final of the tournament will be played on March 22 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and for the first time since 2017, the final of the event will be played in Lahore.
