Pakistan has once again surpassed India in mobile phone internet speed.
Ookla, the worldwide internet speed mapping organization, has released the list of mobile and broadband internet speed in different countries during July.
According to the list, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and South Korea are the countries where it is really fun to use the internet on mobile phones.
UAE topped the mobile internet list with an average download speed of 120.35 Mbps and an average upload speed of 21.07 Mbps.
In second place is Qatar where the average mobile internet speed is 117.43 Mbps.
South Korea moved up a notch to third place with an average mobile internet speed of 109.65 Mbps.
After improving by 2 ranks in this list of 139 countries, Pakistan reached the 114th position.
Average mobile internet download speed in Pakistan is 14.33 Mbps and upload speed is 8.60 Mbps.
Pakistan is ahead of other countries in the region like Nepal, Bangladesh and India in this regard, Nepal is ranked 115th, India 117th, Sri Lanka 125th and Bangladesh 130th.
On the other hand, the Latin American country Chile is on top in terms of broadband internet speed.
The average broadband internet speed in Chile is 212.98 Mbps, followed by Singapore with 211.36 Mbps and Thailand with 189.14 Mbps.
In this list of 182 countries, Pakistan is ranked 153rd with 9.82 Mbps broadband speed while India is ranked 70th with 48.03 Mbps.
Mobile internet download speed averaged 30.78 Mbps and upload speed 8.55 Mbps worldwide during July, compared to global average broadband internet download speed of 66.25 Mbps and Average upload speed was 28.50 Mbps.
