Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that if we are careful and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) we will deal with the epidemic, we think the epidemic could reach its peak in late July or August.
Commenting on the situation of Corona virus in Islamabad, the Prime Minister said that if the people follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs), the cases would not spread rapidly.
“If you are careful, I can assure you that Pakistan will not go through the catastrophe that befell many richest countries, but if we are not careful, a very difficult time is coming,” he said.
Imran Khan said that when a country is locked down, it does not mean that the corona virus will be eradicated, it means that the faster the virus spreads, the less it spreads. Because the more people that gather, the faster the virus spreads.
The Prime Minister said that if people stopped gathering and going out, the epidemic would not end but its spread would slow down.

“People went through a difficult time when we locked down. Unemployment is at an all-time high and there are problems in the homes of the daily wage earners. Unemployment has skyrocketed,” he said.
“In a very short period of time, we have distributed money among the people in a transparent manner, which has not created the problems that other poor countries are facing,” he said.
‘Efforts are being made to slow down the spread of corona virus’
Imran Khan said that now the whole world has opened the lockdown because even the richest countries have decided that no country can tolerate the lockdown for a long time because of the impact of the lockdown on the people, the economy, which Unemployment leads to poverty and hunger in poor countries.
The Prime Minister said that a country like USA, where more than one lakh people have died from Corona, has also opened the country with SOPs and they are forcibly opening the country and in the meantime the virus will start spreading again. If people follow SOPs and do business, the epidemic will spread slowly.
“At the moment, our struggle is not to accelerate the spread of the corona virus, but to slow it down because we know that the corona has to spread,” he added.
“We know that there is a tendency in the world for the corona to spread, then to rise and then to decrease,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that we have been trying to prevent the rise of Corona virus in Pakistan but to increase it slowly so as not to increase the pressure on the hospitals. Don’t increase the pressure.
“That’s why we tried lockdown first and now we are trying through SOPs that if the people follow them, the cases of corona virus will not spread fast,” he said.

“According to our estimates, if we are careful, follow the SOPs, we will deal with the epidemic. We think the epidemic will reach its peak in late July or August, after which the number of cases will increase,” Imran Khan said. I will start to decrease.
Continuing his speech, the Prime Minister said that our whole challenge is that from now on people should do whatever business but with SOPs.
The Prime Minister said, “I urge you to take care of yourself. There will be elderly people in your household. Many people are sick, have high blood pressure and diabetes, their lives are in danger, if they have coronary heart disease, they This can be dangerous.
Imran Khan said that there is no danger for other people, so I see that people are not taking it as seriously as we are saying in this regard, if people do not pay attention, they do not follow SOPs.
“If you do such carelessness, you are endangering the lives of your elders, the sick and the country, so wear a mask whenever you go out of the house. It is important for everyone to wear a mask,” he said. Corona virus causes a 50% difference in spread.
The Prime Minister said that we have issued SOPs for every sector, follow them otherwise it will be very difficult.
Imran Khan said that efforts are being made to ensure the availability of one thousand beds this month on which oxygen is also available.
He also informed about the availability of beds in the country with reference to Pak Naghban app.
The Prime Minister said that if we are not careful, the time may come for us to come to Brazil or the United States and European countries.
