One lakh 20 thousand mobile phones manufactured in Pakistan were exported

Pakistan Telecommunication (PTA) has said that Pakistan has exported 120 thousand locally manufactured mobile phones within a year and the export of phones is likely to increase in the future.

According to the statement issued by the PTA, the locally produced mobile phones were sent to different countries on the continent of Africa.

According to the statement, the exported mobile phones were manufactured by the Pakistani company Anu V Telecom under the United Arab Emirates (UAE) brand name ‘Sego’.

In the report, it was confirmed that the company InoV, which started operations in April 2021, sent 120 thousand mobile phones abroad in one year.

However, the statement did not specify whether all the mobiles the company sent abroad were smartphones or were handsets.

Anu V Telecom started operations in April last year for the local production of foreign mobile brands and was issued a certificate by the PTA.

Apart from Anu V Telecom, other companies in the country are also manufacturing mobile phones locally, but the phones manufactured by other companies are sold in the country.

Now, in addition to 2G technology, smart mobiles with 4G technology are also manufactured at the local level, but the raw materials for this are procured from other countries.
