Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by 80 runs

In PSL 6 match, Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by 80 runs.

In the most important match of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League in Abu Dhabi, the batting of Lahore Qalandars failed once again. Multan Sultans scored 169 runs in the allotted 20 overs in response to which Lahore Qalandars could not even cross the 100-run mark.

Lahore Qalandars were bowled out for 5 by Ben Ding, 13 by Fakhruzzaman, 14 by Mohammad Hafeez, 13 by Agha Salman, 5 by Sohail Akhtar, 5 by Tim David, 10 by Rashid Khan and 22 by James Faulkner.

Shahnawaz Dhani 4, Imran Khan 3, Blessing Mazarabani 2 and Imran Tahir took one wicket each for Multan Sultans.

Lahore Qalandars captain Sohail Akhtar won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat. Shaun Masood, the hero of the previous match, fell victim to Shaheen Afridi without opening his account on the first ball of the over.

Captain Mohammad Rizwan also managed to score only 15 runs. Johnson Charles fell victim to Rashid Khan after scoring 10 runs. Riley Rousseau returned to the pavilion for 29 after a good partnership with Sohaib Maqsood, while Sohaib Maqsood played an aggressive 60-run innings. Khushdal Shah was the guest for 6 runs.

Shaheen Afridi 3, James Faulkner 2 while Haris Rauf, Ahmed Danial and Rashid Khan took one wicket each for Lahore Qalandars.
