Many Pakistani girls offered marriage, Turgat

Actor Jangiz Joshkun, who played the role of ‘Turgat Alp’ in the Turkish drama ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’ aired in Urdu translation on Pakistan Television (PTV), has revealed that he was offered marriage by several girls from Pakistan.

Jangiz Khoshqoon also admitted in an interview to Pakistani TV that his popularity increased after the broadcast of Ertugrul Ghazi in Pakistan and only after the drama was aired did he get an offer of marriage from Pakistani girls.

He also expressed a conditional willingness to work in Pakistani dramas and films.

In the interview, he thanked the Pakistanis for their appreciation and said, “Thank you for all your love. I expect to come to Pakistan one day, as long as I am safe and healthy.”

On the third day of Eid-ul-Adha, in the program Eleventh Hour of private TV channel ARY News, Jangiz Joshqun, the character of Turgat Alp, participated online as a guest. Meanwhile, Shahid Afridi also participated in the show through video link.

At the beginning of the program, anchor person Wasim Badami greeted Eid in Turkish to Jangiz Joshkun, in response to which he congratulated all Pakistanis on Eid.

Referring to his personal life, the militants said, “Alhamdulillah, I am a Muslim. I was born in Istanbul, Turkey.”

“I’m not married yet, but I’ve been liking someone for a long time.

“I was a basketball player 10 years ago and also a professional for three years, but after the injury I quit basketball, after which I started modeling and then acting,” he said.

Asked about his arrival in Pakistan, Jangiz Joshqun said, “The global epidemic is spreading all over the world and when everyone is safe, I would like to come to Pakistan. I will come here soon.”

To a question, the character of Turgat Alp said that if the story and character of Pakistani drama and film fit me and I am excited about it, then I will do the necessary work.

Addressing Shahid Afridi at the event, Jangiz Joshqun said, “Lala, whenever I come to Pakistan, I would like to learn cricket from you.”

On which Shahid Afridi invited him to come to Pakistan and said that I will host you, I will teach you to play cricket and you will teach me to wield an axe

‘Using an axe in drama was my choice’

Jangiz Joshkun said that he started Derelish Ertugrul to improve my acting and to do what I didn’t do next time.

“It was my choice because I wanted each character in the story to have a different feature in the story, so I did that and practiced it,” he said. Everyone else was using swords.

“Before the shooting of the Ertugrul drama started, I practiced ax-wielding, I rode for three months and received weapons training,” the actor said.

“I was injured several times during the filming of the play and once I broke my elbow,” said Jangiz Joshkun.

He described the role of ‘Turgat’ as his favorite character of Ertugrul Ghazi and said, “I am proud of it because I think I did a great job and people appreciate it, give me a lot of respect which is very important to me.” ۔

‘Bamsi and Duan are my best friends’

“Bamsi and Duan are my best friends and we are still in touch, meeting when we are not busy,” said Jangiz Joshkun.

“I have a lot of favorite scenes, but the episode in which I was tortured a lot was a very difficult and very emotional scene,” said Jangiz Joshkun about Derelish Ertugrul’s favorite scene.

“Once during the shooting, a Mongolian soldier tried to put a sword around my neck, but he got excited and the sword got close to my eye. It was very dangerous,” he added.

Jangiz Joshkun said that his favorite villain in Ertugrul Ghazi is Navin, he is a very good actor.

‘I am not a part of Korlish Usman’

To a question, he said that I am not a part of Korlish Usman, adding that I know that people want me to do this series but I will not get involved in it.

Regarding the effects of drama on personal life, Turgat’s character said, “Drama has not changed my life. I am a Muslim, thank God. This drama is about us. I have felt its story.”

Jangiz Joshkun thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for airing the Ertugrul drama in Pakistan and advising people to watch it. He said that when we started this drama, everyone was saying that we can’t but I believe That was all we could do.

‘Many marriage proposals received from Pakistan’

“When the drama started airing in Pakistan, I was sure people would like it because we have fraternal relations, but the popularity of the drama here is higher than I expected,” he said.

Turgat’s character also said that his popularity in Pakistan was judged by his Instagram and I got many marriage proposals from Pakistan but I can’t marry everyone
