KARACHI: On the martyrdom of a 60-year-old man at the hands of Indian Army in occupied Kashmir, Mahesh Hayat has shaken the silent spectator world and asked how long we will remain silent on this atrocity.
Another tragic incident took place in Occupied Kashmir yesterday when a 60-year-old man was shot dead by the oppressive Indian Army during a so-called operation and the 3-year-old granddaughter of the martyred man sat on Nana’s body and cried. There was no one to comfort him.

A picture of a helpless 3-year-old boy sitting on Nana’s body and crying spread like wildfire on social media and the hashtag “Independence of Kashmir” started trending on Twitter once again.

Actress Mahesh Hayat could not remain silent on this tragic incident and the world was silent on the cruelty and barbarism of the Indian Army in occupied Kashmir. Mahesh Hayat said how can the world stand still and allow the Indian Army to commit such atrocities. How long will we continue to turn a blind eye to this oppression? This oppression must be stopped. Kashmiri lives are also important.

It should be noted that the person who was martyred by the Indian Army yesterday has been identified as Bashir Ahmed Khan. The victims had gone to the bazaar with their grandchildren to fetch goods, where the occupying Indian army took them out of the car and shot them.
