Madiha Imam and Muneeb Butt have teamed up for a new drama that will tell the story of the devastating effects of domestic violence.
Samra Bukhari’s play “Farewell Me” will soon air on ARY, showing how domestic violence can ruin a young girl’s life.
Madiha Imam said of her role, “My character is 22-year-old Rada who wants to get married in a family living abroad, this is the dream she has always had.”
He says he has to travel a long way and this is where the story begins, the whole story is based on Rida’s confrontation with her father-in-law, how a girl leaves her home to live with someone else and how The journey continues.
Madiha Imam said, “It is emotionally exploited and it has been shown that the concept of mental health works in a family. You either have to get out of it or give up and live your life in this vicious circle.” Is’.
Muneeb Butt will be seen opposite Madiha Imam as Usman, while Saba Hameed, Shabbir Jan and Saboor Ali will play supporting roles.
The play is directed by Anjum Shehzad and produced by iDream Productions.
