In the 17th match of Pakistan Super League, Lahore Qalandars defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 10 runs.
In the 17th match of PSL 6 in Abu Dhabi, Lahore Qalandars batted first and scored 170 runs in the allotted 20 overs in response to which Peshawar Zalmi is batting.
Kamran Akmal and Haider Ali started batting. Kamran returned with just one run and Haider Ali with three runs. He was followed by Shoaib Malik and David Miller. Rashid Khan bowled well and bowled five wickets for David Miller, Roman Powell, Sharfeen, Fabian and Wahab Riaz.

David Miller was bowled by Rashid Khan for 21 and Roman Powell was bowled out for zero. Rashid Khan bowled Sharfeen for 15 and FB Allen for zero LBW. Wahab Riaz became his fifth victim who was bowled out for 17 by Rashid Khan.
Peshawar Zalmai’s eighth wicket belonged to Shoaib Malik, who scored 73 off 48 balls, including seven fours and six sixes.
Peshawar Zalmi tried their best to cross Qalandars’ target of 171 runs but failed and the team scored 160 runs by the end of 20 overs. Thus Lahore Qalandar defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 10 runs. The Player of the Match award went to Rashid Khan who bowled well and led the Qalandars to victory.

Earlier, the top order of Lahore Qalandars failed completely in front of Peshawar Zalmi’s bowling. Fakhrazman 1, Sohail Akhtar 7, Mohammad Faizan 8 and Mohammad Hafeez 2 were out but Ben Dunk and Tim David showed responsibility and formed a vital partnership of 76 runs.

Ben Dunk was dismissed after playing an innings of 48 runs. James Faulkner scored 22 off 7 balls while Tim David completed a magnificent half-century and remained unbeaten on 64. Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Imran, Ameed Asif and Fabian Allen took one wicket each for Peshawar Zalmai.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz won the toss and invited Lahore Qalandars to bat.
It should be noted that Lahore Qalandars had defeated Islamabad United by 5 wickets in yesterday’s match.
